Interesting facts
The event is organized by the PSK – Pinscher Schnauzer Club of Germany. This is the ninth time that the World Championship is being held in Germany. Following previous editions in Werlaburgdorf, Großwechsungen, Haren (twice), Wyhl, Gärtringen, Eschweiler, and Glauchau, this year’s sporting highlight will take place in Saxony, more precisely in the town of Kamenz. Kamenz is located about 40 kilometers northeast of Dresden.
Kamenz, a town with over 800 years of history, offers several noteworthy sights. These include the Lessing Museum, the Museum of West Lusatia, and the Hutberg stage. Also worth visiting are Rammenau Baroque Castle and the St. Marienstern Monastery. Dresden is just a 50-minute drive away and offers impressive attractions such as the Semper Opera House, the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche), and the historic Old Town.
