About us
The International Schnauzer Pinscher Union “ISPU” was founded on March 19, 1977 as a transnational cynological association for all Schnauzer and Pinscher breeds.
Friends of dog sports have been meeting at the ISPU World Championship since 1992, which was initially only held for giant schnauzer. Since 2017 the Championship is held for all schnauzer and pinscher breeds.
ISPU, IGP-3 and IGP-FH?
ISPU-WM IGP-3 stands for “Internationale Schnauzer Pinscher Union Weltmeisterschaft Internationale Gebrauchshunde-Prüfung 3“ which is translated to “International Schnauzer Pinscher Union World Championship International Working-Dog-Exam 3“.
Until 2018 it was still called “Internationale Prüfungsordnung“ which translates to “International Examination Regulations”.
ISPU-WM IGP-FH stands for “Internationale Schnauzer Pinscher Union Weltmeisterschaft Internationale Fährtenhunde-Prüfung“ which translates to “International Schnauzer Pinscher Union World Championship International Tracking Dog Exam”.
